While fruit with teeth and an open mouth is not an original idea any longer, the concept of the fruit actually eating a human is quite interesting. Especially when you take into consideration the juicy, fibrous texture of the human's interior and "true-to-life" life textures on the apple. Of particular note is how the velvety texture of human lips can flawlessly be inset into the skin of a waxy apple's skin. On the human's face, the rim lighting on her cheek coincides with the shadows used to give the apple its depth, forming the void of what I assume was once her own mouth.

When you take into consideration the observation that the apple seems to have no power to move about on its own and notice the human holding it close to her face, you have to stop and ask yourself: was this meant to be a conscientious intimate moment?

The look of annoyance on her face suggests she expected a more mature response from the apple (who had other things in mind when their lips met in an intimate kiss). Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be enough information to make a definitive guess at what is really going on here.

Technique: Fantastic. Lighting, focus, composition, and the manipulation all look professional.

Impact: I believe this piece will continue to turn heads for quite some time. Perhaps a follow-up piece is on its way to add to the story?

This concludes my Critique. Fantastic Job!
